I lived in this park for four amazing years. I’ve run every major trail and traveled cross country through areas that haven’t seen people in a very long time. That river down there? I’ve rowed and paddled it and spent incredible nights staring into some of the darkest skies in the lower 48. In fact, we weren’t allowed to turn our porch lights on at night to keep it as dark and pristine as possible. I love this little piece of earth. Thanks to these two wild souls for letting me take them to one of my favorite corners.
