About a year ago Claire contacted me to shoot her 4th of July wedding at a vineyard in Italy. Both she and Jeff are F-16 fighter pilots for the Airforce and she was currently stationed there. Their original plan of a small intimate wedding was slowly overrun by the idea of having a huge party. Well, 2020 had other plans. Italy didn’t open and Claire and Jeff (being the super cool people they are) didn’t let covid stop their wedding. Instead, they went back to plan “A” and opted for a small intimate wedding. They traded the Italian countryside for the Moab redrocks and stunning vistas. They rafted the Colorado River the morning of their wedding and hit up the national parks. Moab Under Canvas was the perfect venue for the adventurous laid-back couple and their family and friends. A few 4th of July details to commemorate their day (and the USA) and an outdoor patio dinner completed the incredible day (not to mention fireworks)! I felt like I got to know these two over the course of our yearlong correspondence and time together in Moab. I sincerely love my couples and these two were the best of the best. xoxo you two!
