Why I love it this spot is the jam. It looks good in all weather, all light and is so dynamic. This is about a 40min drive from Moab. I love shooting here amongst the contrasting texture of big blocks of sandstone close up and views of canyon country far away. It is seriously incredible at either sunset or sunrise, so I have both here so you can compare. Sunset is first, sunrise second (beginning with the pic that has the sun peaking over the mountains and the couple kissing… hopefully that narrows it down haha!) This location is gaining popularity, so sometimes battling other groups for my fav spots is tricky!
Avoid this area if you’re not fond of heights! Deadhorse point is a narrow neck of land with big cliffs on all sides. The state park charges $25 to get in and your national parks pass doesn’t work here!
